Cementing the shelves. Get it the leveled is the most important thing. The best form not to fail is to use a hose level. The water never lie to us.

First phase is done.

I thought it was leveled and I began the bog garden.

The rain had made big holes on the pond walls. Solution, cement them to fill them

Near the wood, we can see  that the wall is not leveled.
I was working on my filters and I didn't pay attention to the worker.
When I check the wall was 10 cm unleveled.

(15/07/2006)
I had to mark everything again and then cut the bricks to level them.

Pond with sand and ready for the liner.

Detail of the margins, where I will put the bog garden

After all those misfortunes the work were going. Not without problems, but they were not so serious as the previous ones.

But thanks to the problems, they had contribute for a better and bigger pond.

But this also as put the costs very high.

Nothing is totally bad, there's always the good side. If we know how to transform the disadvantages in advantages. For example the rain made part of the walls to fell down compelling me to cement it so I could cover the big holes in the mud walls, Great! Now I have more solid walls. Another example, the machine and the rain had widened to much the hole for the pond, Great! the pond was a little more wide and prettier.
